Nid Dickey-vest

The Nid Dickey-vest is a dickey-vest in textured stitches. It is knitted from the top down and the length is adjustable to your preference. Its buttonholes on the sides allow you to style it in different ways: you can wear it unbuttoned as a cape over a coat, or when the coat is taken off, you can keep it as a vest, buttoned, to keep you warm. The back yoke is knit first with increases from the shoulders down. The front stitches are picked up separately along each shoulder, then joined after the front neck slope shaping. The armhole ribs are then added before the hem. The back and front hems are knitted separately, and only the front has double knit sides with buttonholes.

  Size Guide
  This pullover is designed to be worn with 5-35 cm 2-13 3⁄4” positive ease when buttoned. The sample is a size 3, worn with 33.5 cm 13 1⁄4” of positive ease, buttoned. The model in the photo is 1 m 63 5’4” tall with a bust circumference of 80 cm 31 1⁄2”.

  Make sure to knit a swatch to check your gauge. If you can’t obtain the correct gauge, adjust needle sizes.
